1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
1/2 cup Italian bread crumbs
2 Tablespoons chopped or dried parsley

1/2 lemon (juice)
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

In large skillet add the olive oil, and break the pasta in half. Cook on low- med heat slightly toast the pasta . Using tongs move the pasta around until a slight golden brown starts to appear. Then add the pasta to a pot of boiling salted water, cook pasta according to the package instructions; take 1/4 cup of your pasta water, then drain well.

In same large skillet add 2 tablespoons of butter and melt over medium to high heat, add 1/2 of the garlic and 1/2 of the parsley, add shrimp and cook until pink roughly 2-3 minutes. Add the shrimp back into the skillet and fold into the sauce cook 1 minute to warm shrimp back up.

Serve immediately, then just sit back and indulge!

Pairs well with a side of garlic bread and a glass of white wine :)

A few additional things you can add right before you add the shrip back in is for color and flavor 1 cup halved cherry tomatoes and/or arugula or fresh spinach leaves.

Another variation of this if you want it more like an Alfredo sauce is 1 can of Cream of Shrimp soup. Whisk soup in a bowl with 1/2 cup pasta water until smooth and add to your butter sauce....Yumm!
