Chrissy's Savory Slow Cooker Pot Roast & Egg Noodles 2 Quick Recipes!
Well here is an easy recipe that will not disappoint you in flavor or over do the calories!
Simply place your pot roast in the oven or slow cooker. Add Chopped red potatoes, chopped carrots, celery, onion, mushrooms, and a seasoning packet from your local grocery store add water according to pot roast packet directions.
Once your pot roast is cooked and ready roughly 4-6 hours in a slow cooker less time in an oven, drain off about 2 cups of the broth, and place it in a hot skillet on the stove. Add 2-3 cups of egg noodles and turn heat to medium. Stir your noodles every few minutes, and add water or more broth as needed if noodles absorb all the juice. Cook roughly 10-12 minutes until noodles are tender. remove from the heat and place on your plate.
Next top your egg noodle bed with your savory pot roast, and veggies.
This makes a very healthy dish that packs a lot of flavor and is very simple to achieve.
