Chrissy's Slow Cooker Creamy Chicken and Tater Tot Casserole

Looking for something new or different? Take advantage of this super simple and savvy recipe with your slow cooker. Just set it and forget it! 6 ingredients is all it takes to create this family favorite. 


1 Lbs Chopped or cubed boneless chicken 
1 can cream of chicken soup
1/4 cup water
2 cans green beans, mixed veggies, or corn drained
1 pkg (8 oz) cream cheese cubed
4 cups of tater tots
2 cups shredded cheese ( I use Taco Blend or Cheddar) 


Put chicken, cream cheese, soup, water, and veggies in bottom of your 4-7 quart slow cooker and mix together well.  

Place your tater tots on top of your chicken mixture, cover and cook on low 5 hours or on high for 4 hours. 

Before you serve sprinkle cheese over top and cook with lid on for another 20 minutes or until cheese is melted. 

**Chrissy's Kitchen Notes**

I tried a slightly altered version of 1 can of green beans and 2 cups of sliced mushrooms with cream of mushroom soup instead and turned out amazing.
